Along with Yoon, former Deputy Director of South Korea's intelligence agency, Hong Jog-won, also appeared in court. After the implementation and subsequent withdrawal of martial law, on December 14, the South Korean Parliament passed an impeachment resolution against the president. Yoon was arrested last month in connection with the matter.
